Directed by senior management, we are seeking a creative developer to take the lead on continuous improvement of the user interaction and experience for all products on all platforms.  The focus of the position is on the user of high functioning front end interfaces, both our new social media interaction platform, Zocle, and our proprietary CMS, Vortal.  In this key role, you will work closely with other developers, project managers and QA staff on the design of large, high profile websites and web applications.  Ideal candidate will have direct work experience on the design and coding of GUI's for content and publishing, have a deep understanding of dynamic CMS systems that power delivery of a full range of content to mobile and fixed devices, and have a solid foundation and understanding of how to engage site visitors.  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced UI/UX developer with 3-5 years professional development experience.  Candidate must also have:

• An excellent command of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive style design,
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, jQuery and PHP a plus;
• Experience with content management systems;
• Proficiency in Adobe graphic editors, namely Photoshop and Illustrator;
• An excellent eye and deep knowledge of interactive web design and development tools;
• A portfolio of web application designs, not just websites, made in live environments with documentation of level of personal involvement; and
• An independent work ethic, along with strong communication and leadership skills.
