If you use Google Ad Manager to traffic your ads, the Google Publisher Console is likely the most important tool you can have to determine trafficking parameters accurately. Luckily, there’s nothing to download or extra tools you need to use. It is built right into your browser.
Accessing the Google Publisher Console
First, let’s create a bookmarklet for the Publisher Console by dragging the following button to your bookmarks bar:
You can now access the Publisher Console from your browser on any page with Ad Manager tags.
Using the Google Publisher Console
The Publisher Console can be activated by clicking the bookmarklet you added in the section above.
Ad Overlays
The publisher console adds a colored and numbered overlay to every ad slot on the page you are currently on.
Each overlay contains information about the ad currently loaded in that slot and a link to view detailed delivery data in Ad Manager.

Ad Slots
Within the Publisher Console itself (at the bottom of the screen), The Ad Slots tab contains detailed information about every ad slot currently registered on the page you are on.
Information is organized into cards, with one card displayed per ad slot (the card number will coincide with the number on the Ad Overlay).
The information for each ad slot will show you how to target the specific slot and what ad sizes it supports.
