If you have a Google Ad Manager account, you can add video prerolls to your podcasts and streams on your website and app!
Just generate a VAST tag for the Ad Unit you want to use for your video preroll and copy it into your OneCMS Podcasts and App Manager, and you are ready to go!
Adding a VAST Tag to your Streaming Player (for website use)
Go to the Streaming Manager and select Player Settings. Paste in your VAST tag and click Save.
Now, when your website visitors play your stream through the free OneCMS player, they’ll first see your GAM-trafficked video or audio ads.
Adding a VAST Tag to a Podcast (for website use)
Edit the selected podcast you would like video ads.
Paste your VAST tag and configure an optional skip threshold, allowing users to skip the video ad after a specified number of seconds.
Your GAM-trafficked video or audio ads will play when your audience plays your podcast on your OneCMS website.
Adding a VAST Tag to your App
Just paste your VAST tag in the Banner tab in the OneCMS App Manager.
Your video ads will traffic when your audience plays your podcast or stream on your OneCMS app.
Note on Trafficking VAST Ads to your OneCMS App
You can target your line items to individual streams or podcasts in Google Ad Manager. If you do not directly target a stream or podcast, the video ads will play before all podcasts and streams on your app.
